Payment processing fees: PayMongo charges 2.5%–4% per transaction (varies by method). We don’t add a markup - see your invoice breakdown for the exact pass-through.
Common questions
Yes - up to 5 active students, no time limit. It's a sandbox for trying the workflow with real data before committing. Hit 6 students and you upgrade.
Your workspace drops to Free tier. Your data is preserved - students, invoices, payslips all stay. If you re-subscribe later, you pick up exactly where you left off. No drama.
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade from Settings → Subscription. Upgrades pro-rate to the current period; downgrades take effect at the next renewal. You're never locked in.
Yes. If you claim a founder seat, that price is locked for the lifetime of your subscription - even when we raise prices for new customers later. Cancel and re-subscribe and the rate is gone, so don't cancel.
No. Free needs only an email. Pro trial also doesn't need a card upfront - we ask at the end of the trial if you want to keep going.
PayMongo charges 2.5%–4% per transaction depending on the payment method (GCash, Maya, GrabPay, QR Ph, cards). Those fees come out of what the parent pays you OR you can pass them through to the parent as a separate "convenience fee" line on the invoice. We don't mark up - what PayMongo charges is what you pay.
