Kumon Ops is built independently by a software developer in the Philippines, working alongside a real Kumon center. The product started as the spreadsheets and shortcuts that kept getting rebuilt every quarter to keep the billing, payroll, and BIR side of the business from eating weekends.
After a couple of years sitting next to a working Kumon center, two things got obvious. First, every Kumon owner has the same problems: the parent chases, the BIR forms, the payroll math, the sibling discount edge cases, the royalty calculation. Second, nobody had built software for it. The tools out there are either generic LMS for huge tutorial chains or Excel templates that break the moment you add a second instructor.
So we built it. Kumon Ops is opinionated: every feature is something a real Kumon center actually does every week - because the center is the first user, and we hear about it when something feels wrong. There’s no “Enterprise tier” with a sales call. There’s no “AI assistant” placeholder that does nothing. Just the screens you’d want if you had a developer on speed dial.
A few opinions we won't budge on.
SQLite under the hood. CSV export on every list. Full DB backup in one click. Take it with you if you leave.
Statutory tables ship current. Messenger reminders matter more than email here. PayMongo is the default processor. We won't pretend otherwise.
Free for up to 5 students. Pro at ₱899/mo (founder rate ₱749 for the first 5 customers). Center tier for multi-location operators.
No bouncing animations, no AI chatbots, no “engagement loops.” If you find yourself opening the app less, that means the workflow is working.

We use the name descriptively because that’s who we built this for.
